Golda Jewelry Company Review

I purchased my engagement ring for my fiancee at Golda Jewelers. I was across the street and about to purchase an estate piece when I noticed Golda Jewelry and thought I should just go and look for the hell of it.

I walked in and was greeted by a very personable and friendly staff.  I was helped by Tanya who listened to me describe in very ethereal terms what I was looking for.  She considered my modest budget and brought me some beautiful pieces to look at.  After looking at a few, one piece jumped out at me and would not leave my mind.  I had found it; beautiful and simple yet modern and elegant.

Everyone was extremely cordial and indulgent.  My fiancee loves the ring. I would definitely go back to look at wedding rings or for other jewelry needs

Linhardt Jewelry Atelier & Gallery Review

Linhardt Design is the place to go to when you are looking for a ring that comes with attention to detail, amazing customer service and a personalized touch.  Lisa Linhardt takes customer service to a whole new level; she takes the time to ensure she understands what you want, does not pressure you at all, and gives you 200% of her attention while discussing options with you.  And it doesn't end there, when the jewelry arrives she encourages you to try it on and invites you to make any changes (i.e. size adjustments, etc) you would feel happier with.  She happened to not be there the day I went to pick up her jewelry and her assistant Becca is JUST as attentive as she is.  Lisa called several times to apologize that she couldn't be there and to ensure we were absolutely happy with our purchase.  She encouraged us to drop by if we needed a size adjustment or had any questions.  She is truly a gem.

I looked around quite a bit for ethical engagement ring options, both online and in NYC, before I was lucky enough to stumble past a sign on the sidewalk of 1st Ave for Lisa Linhardt's sustainable rings.  Lisa was able to cobble together all my disparate ideas and come up with a design that was amazing and unique.  She also won me over when she was up front about which stone she thought was the best value, despite having many other options on hand which were more expensive.  My fiancee and I were both happy to go back to have her design our wedding bands, which again exceeded our expections.

David Levy Diamonds & Fine Jewels Review

You learn all sorts of things when you get married. Wedding dress shopping is not for the faint of heart. No matter how classy you think your friends are, someone will show up in jeans. And finally, jewelers can be extremely shady.

I'll spare you the details, but my beautiful engagement ring  (which was made in California) needed a total reworking, after just one year of wear. My husband and I were looking for someone in New York to do the work. After visiting some very expensive, and some very snotty jewelers, a friend referred us to David Levy.

David was willing to work from our original design, he was also willing to work with our existing diamonds. He not only recreated my original ring, he made it even more beautiful! David was honest, easy to work with, and most importantly, does stunning work. I would HIGHLY recommend David Levy to anyone looking for a reasonable, trustworthy, and highly skilled jeweler in New York!

Klim Jewelry Review

I recently wanted to have an old sapphire and diamond necklace made into my very own royal engagement ring.  My family, who has been using this jeweler for many years, told me to come here and ask for Rosa.

When I found her, she recognized the necklace I was wearing, which was a gift from my parents, as her own work immediately.  I thought that was pretty cool.  She offered to clean it for me right away.  I showed her the other necklace I wanted converted, and they did a beautiful job turning it into a ring.  While I was there, I tried on all these beautiful diamonds, and I was drooling.  The prices were fantastic.  Significantly cheaper than I expected.  I couldn't be happier.  I can't wait to go back with someone who will buy me something.

I love Klim Jewelry. My first introuction to their jewelry was when my husband proposed to me and presented me this beautiful engagement ring that was unique, gorgeous, and a perfect reflection of me (he picked everything out on his own without any discussion of rings).  The first time I went to Klim was when we picked out our wedding bands. We also recently purchased diamond studs from them as well with a halo around the stud. They have unique beautiful pieces,  great style and latest models and designs, great quailty diamonds, and a wonderful price. They are professional and provide quality service. We only buy from them and recommend them to everyone else.

Venus by Maria Tash Review

When I decided to get a second hole in my lobes I hunted around and found Venus by Maria Tash on Broadway near Bond Street. The whole experience was pleasant. The jewelry is high quality and the piercers are experienced. I have now been pierced a total of 11 times here. The first hole in my ears was done elsewhere, I have 4 in each lobe and two in the cartilage in my right ear (3 if you count the one I had to take out since it wasn't healing) and 1 in my left rook. I also have a naval piercing.

The only problem I have is not with the jewelry or the staff. I am a 'problem healer' which leads to several visits to have them 'check' my piercing. They always do so and treat me in a highly professional way. Ashley is usually the one I see but everyone there (who is qualified to help) is friendly and helpful. Even installing a longer back on an earring since the piercing had swelled. And as other reviewers have noted, I have never been treated as 'weird' even though I am much less decorated then some of the staff there.

San Francisco Diamond Exchange Review

Diamonds are a girls best friends, so they say. If you are wanting to treat yourself to a little bling bling, I suggest you visit the SF Diamond Exchange. You'll need to make a appointment to in sure you'll get the service. The quality is what impresses me about this place. Not all wholesaler has good qualities. Another tip, is that a good cut as well as color and clarity is so important. Computerized technology makes the ideal cut more accurate and perhaps even more accessible at better price. I bought a small pendant. The overall points is less than .20 pts, yet, it has so much brilliant. I was informed that these tiny diamonds were cut using computerized technology. I felt the service was excellent considering I was not a big spender in the world of diamonds. I am sure I will be back to visit them again.

Harry's Jewelry Review

I went around for months researching diamonds, weddings, even checked out a library book about the history of rings. Got caught up with the clusterf*k that is the "wedding industrial complex" and became paralyzed with all the ring choices. Harry's is a family business that's been around for a long time. Saro took all that nonsense away and helped me find the perfect engagement ring for my wife. Women always tell my wife, "That's the kind of ring I want!" or "Did you pick that out yourself?" She always says that it's her "Little Eiffel Tower".
